Hey there!

We are Kikka, Kris and… Sangria!

In 2021, my partner Kris and I decided to make a big change. We bought a van, converted it into a camper, and set off on a two-year road trip across Europe. Our Rhodesian Ridgeback, Sangria, came along for the ride, making the journey even more special.

Our dream was to build an online income so we could travel full-time. It wasn’t easy—there were countless hours of learning about marketing, photography, blogging, and social media—but we were determined. With time, persistence, and a lot of trial and error, we managed to create the life we had dreamed of: working for ourselves, travelling freely, and sharing our experiences.

But towards the end of our van adventure, life threw us some challenges. I was diagnosed with a series of chronic health conditions—endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibromyalgia, and vulvodynia—which completely shifted our path. It was a tough time, and the news that starting a family might be a distant hope hit me hard. This brought us back to Scotland, where I’ve been focusing on my recovery while we plan our next adventures.

Now, feeling much better, I’ve started travelling again—this time by plane and exploring new destinations that you’ll find featured in my recent posts. The wanderlust never really left, and I’m excited to be back on the road (or in the air!) discovering new places.
