1. Pepe In Grani

Where: Strada Statale Domitiana, 18, Caiazzo, CE

By far the best pizza I’ve ever had.

Pepe in Grani is like a pizza lover’s paradise. The place is run by the pizza maestro himself, Franco Pepe. People can’t stop talking about it because they use the best ingredients and stick to the good old ways of making pizza. Every pizza that comes out of their wood-fired oven is like a piece of culinary art. And, the place itself is stunning.

If you want to know more about Franco’s techniques, watch the Netflix documentary “Chef’s Table – Pizza“. The 4th episode is entirely dedicated to Pepe in Grani.

They only accept bookings, so make sure to reserve your place in advance (I highly recommend booking a spot on their beautiful terrace!).
